The PEAR Lab at Western University is conducting a study to examine associations between peer relationships and eating behaviour among female adolescents.

13 to 17 years old

Healthy volunteers and volunteers with eating disorders


Who can participate in this study?

1. Adolescent girls aged 13-17 years;
2. Either identifies as someone who struggles with their eating or body image OR volunteers without any eating or body image concerns.

What is involved?

Study participation involves two visits to Western University in London, ON. Each visit will take approximately 1-2 hours to complete. Participation will involve having height and weight measured, completing interviews and questionnaires, and a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan.
